Community Hall
The Parish Centre is located in Leeds Street, East Doncaster.
It is a light and airy, multi-purpose venue suitable for meetings, classes/seminars and private functions, including family gatherings and children’s parties.
It is air-conditioned and heated.

General Conditions of Hire
Bookings
- The booking form containing the Terms of Agreement must be submitted to and subject to approval of the Centre Management.
- The Centre Management reserves the right to refuse or cancel any bookings unconditionally.
- Bookings for any teen Birthdays cannot accepted.

Bond
- There is a bond of $500.00. This must be paid by cheque at least 48hours prior to the event, and will only be cashed in the event of any damage to the Hall.
- The full amount will be refunded within an estimated 7 days after the function, upon the safe return of keys and a satisfactory inspection that the facility has not been damaged or left in an unacceptably dirty condition.
- The Centre Management reserves the right to deduct from the Bond the cost of extraordinary cleaning, clearing of rubbish left behind by hirers, damage or repairs arising from misuse of the Centre.

Instructions for Use of Centre Facilities
Main Hall
- Please do not use or bring in anything which will damage the floor -e.g. beer kegs or barrels.

- Spillages should be mopped up immediately with the mop provided in the Kitchen.
- Decorations are not to be stuck on the wall as this damages the paintwork.
- Decorations may be hung on the free standing panels provided.
- Helium balloons maybe used.
- Confetti is not permitted within the Centre or surrounding grounds.
Kitchen
- Please mop the floor after use.
- Remove all food from the refrigerator.
- Ensure that the refrigerator is switched on and the refrigerator doors are shut before you vacate the Centre.
Air Conditioners, Heaters and Lighting
Check that all air conditioners, heaters etc have been switched off before you leave the centre.
Audio Equipment
- If you are using our equipment, please ensure that it is switched off and unplugged before you leave.
- You may bring your own data projector.
Chairs and Tables
- Please do not drag tables and chairs across the floor as this will cause damage.
- All tables and chairs must be returned to their respective store rooms within the Centre.

Noise Control
The continued availability of this Centre is dependent upon us maintaining good relationships with our neighbours.
Closing Up the Centre
Please ensure that all windows and doors are securely closed before you leave. Check that the carpark is also closed.
Noise
The continued availability of the Centre is dependent upon the maintenance of good relationships with our neighbours. Noise restrictions under the Environment Protection Act 1970 require us to limit noise after the times stipulated below:-
Sunday to Thursday after 10:00 p.m.
Safety of children
Children must not be left unsupervised at any time. The Centre will not take any responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances or injuries.
Smoking
Is strictly not permitted within the Centre.
Breakages and damage
In the event of any breakages or damage, The Hirer has the responsibility of reporting this to the Parish Office on 9842 1480 as soon as possible after the event.
Liquor Licence
It is the responsibility of The Hirer to obtain a licence from the Liquor Control Commission when a charge is to be made for alcohol, either consumed or sold in the Centre, or raffled as a prize. The Licence must be produced at the time of payment of the Bond and balance of the hire charges. The Licence should be displayed at the function.
