Located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, we are a catholic community that seeks to share our faith through our various ministries and groups. Child Safety Motion

At a joint meeting of the parish council of the parishes of Ss Peter and Paul and Our Lady of the Pines held on Thurs 19th December, it was agreed that both parishes adopt the Archdiocesan “Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy” and that both parish councils proceed with implementing the necessary actions.

Joint Parishes Statement to Plenary Council

Ss Peter and Paul’s Parish, together with representatives from 20 – 30 parishes in Melbourne, worked on a joint parishes statement to the Plenary Council. Please click on the link to read the submitted statement.

Plenary Council 2020

In May 2018, Australia’s Catholic Bishop’s launched the most significant review of the Church in Australia in recent times, the last one being held in 1937. The purpose of the Plenary Council is to plan for and direct the future of the Australian Catholic Church in the most open and inclusive way possible. It is to be a meeting of the whole Church in Australia, including everyone, bishops, clergy, religious and lay faithful.
The unfolding process is over a three-year period.
2018: A Year of Listening
The Plenary Council’s first stage of preparation – Listening and Dialogue, concluded on Ash Wednesday, 6th Mar 2019.
2019: A Year of Discerning

Registrations Open for Sacrament of Holy Communion and Confirmation 2020
Registration forms are now available for Sacramental classes for Holy Communion and Confirmation respectively for 2020. Classes begin on Sun 16th Feb, 10am for Sacrament of Confirmation, and Sun 1st March 10am for Sacrament of Holy Communion. Please contact the parish office for the forms.
Prep Welcome Mass & Commissioning of School Staff and Student Leaders, Sun 9th Feb, 11.15am mass
We will be welcoming our Prep students and commissioning our school staff and student leaders at mass on this day. A BBQ and youth group program will run after mass. All are invited to join us in welcoming our school community.
